  5. former President was not quite admitting to goofing off, but he did
  6. accept an 8-ft. surfboard from the students at Pepperdine
  7. University, where he delivered a speech. Don't expect to see him
  8. having fun, fun, fun on the surf, though. There is a lot of work
  9. to be done at his new Bel Air residence. With Nancy on a New York
  10. City trip, Reagan was alone unpacking crates from their White House
  11. years, and he couldn't find his heating pad! He also confessed to
  12. writer's block while toiling on his memoirs. Said he: "I tell you,
  13. I sit there looking at those blank pages." Perhaps his new digs
  14. need a ghost or two.
